Neel’s 2nd Ton in partnership with Angad’s hat trick seals Spring’s victory against YTCA Mavericks

Riding on Ryan Neel’s back to back century, Spring Sports Academy scored 287 runs by losing only 5 wickets. His century came off only 79 balls. The 13-year-old batsman finished with an unbeaten 143 off 98 balls, studded with 15 fours which lead to a win for his Academy by 250 runs. This score wouldn’t have been possible without his teammates which saw a contribution of Angad Nehru making 31 runs and Kiruthik batted at 18 with 2 fours in the bag. The boys put up a big show by giving away only 48 runs to the opposing team in 9.5 overs. Angad was the star here by taking 3 wickets – a hat trick – in only 0.5 over giving with an economy of 0.0. What an outstanding performance by Angad! Joining him was the terrific Surin who also took 3 wickets with 1 maiden over and giving away 11 runs.
