SPRING SPORTS ACADEMY chases down their 2nd WIN as DEFENDERS unable to defend the target of 145

Under the afternoon heat at the Ajman Oval, Spring Sports Academy played their second match against Defenders (DEF) in the Emirates Cricket Board U-16 Cricket League. Defenders won the toss and chose to bat first with Gaurav Agarwal and Aradiya Sharma opening. For Spring Abdulla opened the bowling. Spring had a decent start restricting DEF to 41 within the powerplay. The spinners were doing a good job at restricting the batsmen and taking DEF’s wickets at a decent rate as the pitch was dry and dusty as a result of frequent use. And so the pacers weren’t able to do their best. Aradhya Dubey finished the DEF inning with the last ball being a Run-out, DEF inning ended at 144 for 7.
